July 25 Continued Specialist Review

Patient 26-519 remained alert during her examination but continued to be severely anemic and underweight.

Her first CT scan was reviewed by additional avian specialists.

The review continued to support relatively limited lung abnormalities and mild changes involving the kidneys, but there was still no single finding capable of explaining the severity of her anemia.

Her medical team continued treating the conditions that remained reasonably possible while monitoring her response.

At this point, the case was increasingly being discussed with avian veterinarians and specialists outside Ojai Raptor Center.
