Wildlife Hospital Team Volunteers

A person wearing a face mask and blue gloves is holding a large feather, possibly preparing to write or draw on it with a stylus or pen. They are inside a room with shelves and racks filled with various items, including boxes, papers, and fabric.

Our Wildlife Hospital Volunteers will be involved with custodial work such as cleaning cages, mews and flights, doing laundry, washing dishes, and general upkeep around the center. Additionally, it includes handling the food that we feed our patients, which is a variety of different meats and prey animals.

Time Requirement

  • We require that animal care volunteers be available for at least one 4 hour shift per week for a period of 4 months.

Volunteers should know that this is laborious and dirty work, but with time and dedication, it can be extremely rewarding!

Taking on new volunteers, training, and relying on volunteers takes time and energy from our staff. Please apply only if you can make a solid commitment.
