Jesse Grantham- Vice President
Jesse Grantham joined the ORC Board in February of 2015. He and his wife Trina have lived in Ojai off and on since 1980. Jesse grew up on the east coast and spent a number of years banding hawks and owls at Cape May Point, New Jersey. He and a friend also had a barn owl and kestrel nest box program in Pennsylvania in the late 1970’s. In 1980 Jesse joined the California Condor Research Program with National Audubon Society and remained with the program until all the wild condors went into captivity. Jesse came back to California in 2004 as the California CondorCoordinator for the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Jesse retired from the Service in 2012.
