Owls are nocturnal birds of prey who hunt at night. Owls are more difficult to observe in the wild than most hawks or other raptors. Many people have never seen a living owl. ORC is fortunate to be able to have several species of owls in the Resident Raptor Program.

Barn Owl boxes are large nest boxes that can be placed on your property to attract owls to your area. In the spring, owls are looking for nest cavities to raise their young. You can build a Barn Owl box, or purchase one in our Raptor store.
